Westleigh started strong, Jon McG playing a lovely ball down to the line to Hinso, he looked up, saw Kyle stood on the P spot, played a delightful ball and Kyle had one of the worst aspects of control we have seen at the club and missed,

Khalsa pushed on from this and after what felt like 42 short corners, eventually made one count and scored to make it 0-1.

A spurring talk from El Capitan didn’t seem to have worked to start with with Khalsa piling on the pressure.

Until…. A ball somehow ended up with Finn Friedersdorff (we don’t remember the assist or build up in the slightest!) and he slotted in at the near post, 1-1!

Fin Chadwick then ran down the wing and stuck the ball onto a foot on the line, P Flick!

Top scorer Hinso stepped up, eyed up the top left, aimed at the top left, the result…. Straight down the middle along the floor, a completely fumble through the keepers legs, a piddle as he described it followed by shouts of “that was awful how’s he let that through his legs”… 2-1 Westleigh.

Fin Chadwick seeming revitalised in the last 15 ran once more around the back line before squaring it to Hinso on the back post to make it 3-1.

To top off a mad 15 minutes, Fin Chadwick got the goal he deserved with another mazey run. 4-1 the final score.
